My AdvoCare Disney Survival Kit

(PSSSSSS.....GIVEAWAY Information is at end of post!)

Our family, our ENTIRE family, is headed to Disney soon.  This morning, I started my packing list. Traveling with 14 people is going to require some planning!  Now, we love Disney.  My side of the family is eat up with Disney and we LOVE nothing more than spending a week there. But eating in Disney can be, well...let's just say it's easy to get off track when faced with supersized Mickey Mouse shaped rice crispy treats each time you turn around! :)

This morning, I began to put together a list for my AdvoCare Disney Survival kit.

SPARK!!!! - For those early mornings and the afternoon crash.  The packets will fit into my backpack and we will simply mix with water.

REHYDRATE  Disney anytime in Summer is H.O.T.  Combine that with all the walking, (which is great exercise!!) it is easy to find yourself sweating away electrolytes. We choose Rehydrate in place of other sports drinks.  Once again, we mix in our water bottle, shake and enjoy.

JOINT PROMOTION -This is part of my daily routine and will help keep my arthritis in check.

PROBIOTIC BOOST- For my girls.  This is part of their daily routine and will help keep their tummy's happy.

CARB-EASE PLUS- Simply because I know I am going to be bombarded with sweets, breads...you know all the things we love to eat!!!

MEAL REPLACEMENT SHAKES - For breakfast each morning.  That and a piece of fruit will be more than enough to get me to lunch!

Guess it's time to get pack to the worst part of vacation!  PACKING.  :)

On to the giveaway information!!!!!

Answer the following two questions:

Where are you vacationing this summer?

Which of the products would you pack in your survival kit?

Let me know in the comments and we will have drawing for a special AdvoCare prize!

Have a blessed day,
stephanie

Up for a 24 Day Challenge, but the Pocketbook says "Not Right Now."?

I have Sparked up and I'm practically standing up to type! Because this...

THIS is HUGE.

Here is a little of the "back story".

Saturday evening, Chad was in Knoxville for the Rev3 Triathlon and I was at home thinking. (Always dangerous!)

Earlier in the day I posted on Facebook that I was going to start the 24 Day Challenge and would love to have some ladies join me!  (Accountability and encouragement make a world of difference for me.) I was overwhelmed at the response. I realized that while people wanted to do this, the cost was the one thing keeping them back.

I sat in my living room texting Chad about the conversations I had been having and my frustration at not being able to just give it away. :)

That was when Chad texted me to say, "Let's give some away.  Tell them if they get 2 friends to purchase the challenge we will give them the Cleanse portion.  If they get 4 friends to purchase the challenge bundle....we will give them the entire bundle...for free."  Yep...you read that correctly, Chad said the word FREE. And the best part?

There is no "end" to this offer!

NOW is a great time to start thinking about a group of friends, family, coworkers that you would like to "challenge".  Check out our site at www.advocarega.com and ask us questions!

If you are here in the Dacula area OR in the Chattanooga area, Chad and I would love to come start your Challenge with a "kick off" party for you and your Challenge buddies! We'll bring Spark samples and walk through the each portion of the Challenge with you.

You plus 4 friends making the choice to not just jumpstart weightloss, but improve your health...

Life and Health Changing.

Gut Health-Probiotic Boost

Our family has tummy issues. Chad, along with two members on his side of the family, live with Crohn's disease. One day, Chad will share the difference AdvoCare products have made in regards to that. It has been major.

Today, however, I want to share about our experience with ProBiotic Boost. One of our children struggles a bit with her tummy. Because of our family history, we probably pay a little more attention to tummy issues, so when AdvoCare introduced the new ProBiotic Boost, we ordered a box specifically for our girls. I wanted to see if adding this to their morning routine would make a difference in their tummy health.

First of all, Boost comes in powder form. Our girls affectionately call them Healthy Pixie Sticks. Chloe just rips it open and consumes it like a pixie stick! She loves the taste and says it reminds her of candy. Emma is not crazy about straight powder in her mouth.  She prefers to mix it with applesauce. (You can mix the powder with any beverage. I mixed with water and the berry taste was very subtle.)

After a couple of months of taking ProBiotic Boost here is what I can tell you. Emma, who is my fruit/veggie/salad girl, says she feels good. :) This child does not deal with tummy issues.

Chloe on the other hand has seen a HUGE difference in how she feels. In fact, we did not order a box last month and ran out. We were out for several days and she was quick to tell me she needed it!

Some of her comments to me have been:

"My stomach just feels normal."

"I don't feel icky after I eat."

"My tummy does not feel gross when I eat fun food like ice cream."

Because I'm a list kind of girl, here are a few of the benefits of taking ProBiotic Boost:

  • Provides immune system support
  • Supports healthy intestinal function
  • Aids good digestion
  • Helps promote regularity
  • Great for the whole family (ages 4 and up)

  • Interested?  Check out the product page here

Perhaps you are interested in a ProBiotic, but not in a powder form.  Our RESTORE is an excellent product.  You can find information for RESTORE on this page

We are so very excited to share three new products with you! While I would LOVE to give you details of all three, I want to spotlight them one at a time.

    One More Reason

One more reason to trust AdvoCare.

Earlier this week I came across this chart. It is a list of the nutrition companies that the NFL has banned. Why are they banned by the National Football League? The supplements and substances they provide have been deemed illegal based on NFL rules.

Are you curious as to who is on this list? I thought you might be so here it is.

If the NFL has forbidden their athletes to use nutritional supplements from these companies, would you want to use them? Would you give them to your student athlete?

AdvoCare is proud to say that when you purchase one of our products, you are getting a CLEAN product. In fact, our Informed Choice program is our promise that the product you are using has been tested by an independent testing company and given the "all clean".

The following information came through our e-mail last week. Check out this list of NCAA teams who are using products and seeing the difference!

5 AdvoCare Teams in the TOP 15!
Eric Lichter (Director of Football Performance for The Ohio State University)

Tim Socha (Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for Boise State University)

Jerry Schmidt(Director of Sports Enhancement for the University of Oklahoma)

John Dettmann(Director of Strength and Conditioning for the University of Wisconsin):

Kevin Yoxall (Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Auburn University)

And I just checked, all of these are in the top 15 of the BCS poll, Auburn being in the number one spot.

Thanks for stopping by today! Please let us know if we can answer any questions.

    Susie's Challenge - Update 3

The first nine days of school have been a whirlwind and I haven't posted Susie's next update!

She lost 11 pounds during the 10 Day Cleanse, but delayed starting the MNS MAX 3 pack because her schedule and life was absolutely crazy. I want you to hear her words. Here is what she has to say after a few days of being off product and then starting again.

"I started back on the remaining 14 days of the 24 day challenge yesterday. I weighed before starting. I had gained 4 of my pounds back which honestly I thought it was more. I just felt heavier. As of this morning, I’ve already lost 2 of those. I am officially declaring Spark as the Fountain of Youth. Even after just one day of being back on the program I have more energy. I think to myself, why did I go off of it. I know why, schedules were very sporadic and I kept forgetting to take the pills before and with lunch. I didn’t want to waste my Spark and breakfast drink if I wasn’t going to do the program right. Now I’m back on."

The road to getting healthy and staying healthy is going to have ups and downs. Susie did the right thing, she started again. I am so proud of her!

I'm thrilled to have another family on her seventh day of the Challenge. AND a sweet friend received her box of Challenge goodies today! It's exciting!!

If you would like to learn more about the 24 Day Challenge, please leave a comment or e-mail me at advocarega@gmail.com

    Blessings,

    My Big News

Three years ago when Chad started running, biking and then swimming. I thought he was N.U.T.S. Well, more nuts than I already knew him to be. KIDDING.

The thought of running was enough to break me out in a cold sweat. Have I mentioned my feelings on sweat? We don't get along and I shudder at the thought of it. Sweat and running were good buddies in my mind and because I don't care for one, the other was definitely never going to happen.

Until a month ago. I was feeling guilty about not exercising enough and let's face it, at 35 I needed to be doing more. So I had been thinking that I would get serious about walking. I will even go as far as to say I entertained the idea of running, but that was about it.

About a week or so later, Chad called me from the office. He said he had been thinking about how he was doing the Ironman Augusta in September and even though he was signed up for the Battlefield Marathon in November he felt like it was too close to the Ironman. He didn't want to waste his registration fee, so he asked me if I would train and run the half marathon with him.

I said yes. Within five minutes I had agreed to run 13.1 miles. What was I thinking!!!

We are four weeks into training and so far so good. (I think, ask my trainer for the real story!) I finished my fourth 2 mile run last tonight. To be honest, I'm in shock! Saturday will be my first 3 mile run.

Because I've never used the Performance Elite line of AdvoCare products, I feel like I'm being introduced to a whole new host of products. For the last three runs, I have taken two Nighttime Recovery at bedtime. Each time, I have felt SO much better in the morning! And for someone who suffers from arthritis, I think it says a LOT to be able to run two miles then get up without stiffness the next morning.

You can read more about this product HERE.

We are around 94 days until The Chickamauga Battlefield Half Marathon. 94 DAYS!! I know that with a lot of prayer, serious training and some help from AdvoCare products like Nighttime Recovery, I will finish those 13.1 miles.
